In 2020, three friends with over 30 years of combined experience in special education met for dinner. They discussed the difficulties of managing school-based therapy programs. They talked about exploding caseloads, therapist burnout, and the pain points of documentation.
One of the friends was a pediatric physical therapist tired of using outdated EHR/EMR systems. She had tried different practice management platforms, online calendars, and spreadsheets, but nothing was efficient. She needed a tool that could help her manage everything in one place and save her time and effort. After searching for three years, she found a technology executive who shared her vision and could build on it.
